My days begin with prayers and readings – I read from God’s Word and the book He has directed me to read at this time.  Yes – God has been directing me to reading material my whole life.  You see – I have always been a rather strong-willed – independent – high energy individual.  But I love to read and that is one way God communicates with me.  Of course, there is prayer and quite time – but God knows it is hard for me to be still and quiet so His most effective communication with me is through the Bible and the printed word.

God made each one of you unique and special.  In fact, my pastor says “ if God made two of us alike – there would be no need for one of us.”  So the good news is that there is not another you out there anywhere!!  We have all been blessed by the one and only – YOU.  You are gifted – talented – brilliant.  Today, don’t let anyone tell you one word that makes you feel less than the incredible person that you really are.

Let’s take time today to tell our families – our children – our friends how special and important they really are.  Our lives have become agendas – to do lists – goals.  What happened to love – real joy – good old fashion fun where there is conversation and interaction?Change just needs one person –you!!

I know you are busy.  That is ok.  I just want you to take a positive word along today.   So today I want to replace one negative thought with one positive.  Today – look up from those papers – speak to people and smile.  Let them see a little of the fabulous you – and get to know a little of the fabulous in others.  You know what they say – today is a gift.  Well, unwrap it!!  Live it!!
